Changing faulty thinking in Jesus' name

powerinprayer

- Got negativity?

- Self-pity got your mind?

- Stuck wading in a pool of doubt?

It’s okay to admit it. Yes, even Christians experience these things. We're not immune to the trials, tribulations, and tests of life; we are human after all. We may stumble into that head space at times, but we don’t have to live there. In fact, we shouldn’t. We've got to remember where our help comes from! We were created with purpose, not by accident. We have to remember to whom we belong - KING JESUS! So, we've got to refresh ourselves daily with a burst of LIGHT (The Word), a big dose of positivity, pick ourselves up when we're down (it's okay to reach out for help in order to do so), and keep on trekking!

Say it and believe it with me (if it applies to you):

1) Just because I call and they don’t answer (or don’t respond to a message immediately), doesn’t mean they’re unreliable. It just means they are unavailable at that time.

2) I have problems, but I am not THE problem.

3) I can’t change his situation, but I can love him as he is and love him through it.

4) I can’t do everything, but I can do something(s).

5) God is good even when things aren’t.

6) What I see (and sometimes, don’t see) seems impossible, but God says and has proven otherwise.

7) I, sometimes, feel useless, helpless, and hopeless, but I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

8) I am enough because God is - “I AM!”

9) I am loved because God is LOVE.

"And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." (Romans 12:2)

"And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness." (Ephesians 4:23‭-‬24)
"Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you." (Philippians 4:6‭-‬9)

Satan is a liar and the father of them, and I rebuke him in Jesus’ name. I may not be perfect…I may fall short…I may not get it right all the time, but Jesus thought I was to die for. What. A. Good. GOD!!! And that’s who I live for <3

If you remember nothing else, remember this: Repeat it to yourself as often as you need to, and don't forget that you can talk to God (and me, if needed) about anything.

*Not only can my God do anything; He can do everything! And I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.* <3
