Dearest Friends,
The enemy isn’t coming [as we believe Paul Revere infamously warned his comrades of the enemy's approach by yelling out “The British are coming! The British are coming!” while riding through town]. I cry out to you now with warning that, “The enemy is here! The enemy is here!”
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: (1 Peter 5:8)
He’s here. The enemy is here. And that mean ol’ sneaky devil is here and working hard as ever to take down whom he can. So, we’ve got to get an understanding of whom and what we are dealing with...
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. (Ephesians 6:12) For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled. (2 Corinthians 10:3-6)
so that we can stand against and fight the enemy.
That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: (Ephesians 4:14-15)
So, how exactly do we do it? Get focused. Get spiritual minded. Get with God. He’s the only one that can “rebuke the devourer for our sakes” (Malachi 3:11).
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. (Ephesians 6:11) Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with TRUTH, and having on the breastplate of RIGHTEOUSNESS; And your feet shod with the preparation of the GOSPEL OF PEACE; Above all, taking the shield of FAITH, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of SALVATION, and the sword of the SPIRIT, which is the WORD OF GOD: PRAYING always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; (Ephesians 6:13-18)
Because if you have yet to come to terms, the day is evil. And the battle goes extensively beyond that which our eyes see and what our ears hear. Need I remind you?

So I beg you, hear me loud and clear: THE ENEMY IS HERE! THE ENEMY IS HERE! We need to get right with God and do all that we can to stand with Him and fight the enemy. I don’t know about you, but I’ve read (and believe) the end of the book [The Holy Bible], and I look forward to reigning on Victory’s side. Ride on, King Jesus!!!
